Dr. John Behan Qual: B.Sc(Hons), MSc (Distinction), PhD.
Family owned 3000 sows. Studied General Agriculture degree then specialized in Reproduction.
MSc - Genetics / reproduction specialized in Assisted Reproduction initial PhD studied reproductive
/ ethological behavior in swine. About to submit 2nd PhD on reproductive physiology at the Royal
Veterinary College. Owned three AI centres – sold 500k doses of semen in UK / Ireland - per
annum, first in UK to partner abbatoir.
Sold company to consortium in 2005. Consulted in over 15 countries for over 10 years -
troubleshooting reproduction. Author of many articles in various magazines.
