Azolla Videos
These were from the Mag-Agri Tayo episode of January 29. Join us for more scheduled instructional over NBN Channel 4, every Saturday, 9am.
@cheryl, the big white ones we had sewn. The smaller red and blue ones were ready made mosquito nets bought in the market, the largest size. If you see in the videos, we just inverted the mosquito nets and tied the 4 corners, then threw stones inside to make the bottom not float.
Good day! maam, saan po ba puwedeng makabili ng azolla o baka po puwedeng makabili ng azolla sa inyo po?...at puwede rin po ba ito ipakain sa ibang comercial chicks na nabibili sa mga poultry supplier? taga pilar bataan po ako....thanks! Jieboy
@alstreim_09, Meron bang pwedeng kumuha sa amin ng Azolla sa Manila? As you have seen in our videos, yes, we feed them to our chickens that may be bought in poultry supply stores.
Hello po pwedi rin po bang paramihin ang azolla sa mga plastic container sa kadahilanang maliit lamang ang aming space at dito kami nakatira sa Manila. Maraming salamat po..
mam sandy, we got a handful azola for starter, but we encountered a problem, we put it in a small net in fishpond, but after a few days the azola began turning brown, so we transfered it in our small concrete pond at home with freeflowing water from the spring (our house is located at the foot of mount arayat) so far it began recovering, but we really needed to transfer it soon to the fishpond, what do you think is the reason that our azola is not "having a good time" in our fishpond? I had I few hunch I'm not sure if it is the real reason: 1. our fishpond water here in pampanga is hot, and we dont have shade? 2. our fishpond is not fertilized enough for the azola to grow? 3. OR our fishpond is too deep? I really wanted to propagate azola, to help us in our animal feeds .\ thank you so, much and GOD bless po, for sharing all your knowledge in natural farming, its well appreciated!
@Bonik_1338 saan ka sa arayat pwede ba akong humingi ng azola sayo? pwede rin palang mabuhay ang azola sa running water pwede rin kaya syang paramihin sa pampanga river maglagay ako ng net?
Very informative! Thank you Sandy for this video. I have this abandoned koi pond that i want to convert into azolla pond. Can i buy azolla from you? thanks.
Hi, I was wondering how you guys control pest from getting into the azolla. I see the net would keep out frogs, but what about insects? I was testing azolla last year and it disappeared in April because of a moth larvae. The only thing I know to use is chemicals.
