Packaging

Aesthetically and functionality, I like our simple vacuum packaging.

Another business idea one may do for food retailers is to come up with packaging for chilled/frozen food.

I got several of the thermal bags with fabric outer covers. Nice and simple and can withstand some time out of the freezers and sit in cars when given as gifts. Today, I was with a media friend who was out interviewing an agriculturist from Bicol who was assigned to the technology of making handicrafts from tree barks and corn husks/hair.

She says that they bags we was showing us were easy to make and was of course from materials that are thrown away. No need for molds, special equipments nor a lot of manpower. You need your corn husks/hair, glue, dye and I presumed a flat table surface to straighten it out as you brush glue :)

It was so practical, cheap and your products can breathe...no need to tear your paper wrapping to peep wehehhehehe.

It withstands moisture and of course reusable bag.

As we say...no use fretting now...move in these trying times.

Naga Seminar UPDATED

DA in Camarines Sur have just been in touch and wants to schedule a seminar for Raising Sunshine Chickens for March 06. This will be done on the same day as their dispersal of 1month old Sunshines.

This is thru the project of Cong. Luis Villafuerte, who had started to order Sunshines since late 2007.

You may coordinate with DA Cam Sur. Meantime, keep those dates open, so you may attend our FREE seminar in Naga. Doc Rey intends to be in the area, for your questions, for a couple of days.

Department Of Agriculture Region 5

We have been sending Sunshines to DA-Region 5, in coordination with the office of Congressman Luis Villafuerte.

Successive shipments show that they are happy with quality.

A free seminar is being scheduled in the area.

You may coordinate with the DA in your area for information on Sunshines. Whatever region you are, just ask your local DA.

Biosecurity

We get requests to visit our breeder farm. Sorry, but for biosecurity reason, we do now allow visitors. It will be to your utmost interest, our clients, that we are able to maintain our breeders in top health. Even amongst us partners, we refrain from doing so, as we have one assigned to breeding anyway, while others are assigned to finance and marketing.

That is the main reason why we maintain our booths at AANI FTI, AANI Herbal Garden and Livelihood Center and our demo on urban farming at the rooftop of our Fairview outlet.

You will see us there and able to get one on one pointers in raising our Sunshine Chickens.

Periodically, we have our free seminars. If you want seminars in your area, coordinate with your local DA, Municipal officers etc and advise them that we may be contacted for FREE SEMINARS in your area.

Recent dispersals have been in CAR, Bicol and Batangas.

Let's work hand in hand with government to give us all, Sunshines on our tables and to help us in livelihood.

We didn't decide to call it Sunshine for nothing. Sunshine gives us freshness and hope...it doesn't cost a lot to raise Sunshines... let's not forget the health benefits and of course the taste. Lasang native!
