New All

February is Chinese New Year, Valentine's, Ash Wednesday, People Power Day...that's what my calendar said.

Today, we spent the first hours in Fairvew. Bidding the location and structure that was our base for so many years. No, we are not losing it because we had to close shop nor our business. We just had to make a business move that will make us stronger and make us enjoy our passion more.

We have way to lease out our location to Jollibee :) :(... The rest of the property will be taken over by a supermarket chain. The lease proceeds is understandable to simple minds, that it will make our passion with Sunshine Chicken, doable and not just profit oriented.

Organika, our meat shop will remain at the Regalado side. Right across Regalado gate of SM Fairview, we will also continue to hold our monthly 4th Sunday seminars there.

This afternoon, we went to our proposed new location. A property at the Araneta Center. 8th Ave, very near P. Tuazon. Very close to the provincial bus stations. Accessible by the two lines of trains. We are really happy with this new location.

Building soon...so we can serve you there better :)

Again, the move is for the better....we didn't close to remain as such...closed one and will open better :)

Tomorrow, we got o SMX Convention Center to prepare for INAHGEN 2010....see you there!

Why Moving?

Closed the Quirino Hway store and moved the inquiries to our Regalado Ave side (fronting the Regalado gate of SM Fairview)...why?

We were occupying about 1000sqm of that property. We just closed a deal with Jollibee for about 500sqm and other fastfood chains are negotiating for the remaining 1500sqm.

Understandable why we opted for that business decision?

Often asked why we are closed....not closed but moved for now to the meatshop. We didn't say why before, until the deal was closed. As we said before, due to good vibes and we started in this address, we are maintaining the spot of our Organika store.

By February, we would have centralized operations in Araneta Center, 8th Ave. (near Western Marketing)....stone's throw away from Araneta Coliseum. Present tenant vacates end Jan...we hope!

No worries....we are not getting lost. Not downsizing, not getting out. On the contrary, we are growing and moving forward and upward :)

Moving Few Steps

We are making a major move of all our operations, centralizing it in the Araneta Center. Offices, dressed Sunshines' meat shop, Organika, pick up of our dayold chicks... we will incorporate with other farm suppliers.

Excited to do this as we will be in the middle of everything and everywhere. Logistics and accessibility to clients who drive or commute. Landscaping is planned. Green architecture is being employed!

We've had the Fairview address from the start and we will not let go of the landmark. Manpower shortage is forcing us to close down the store facing Quirino Highway...BUT, we are moving the inquiries and pick up at Organika, our meat shop facing Regalado Ave (fronting the Regalado gate of SM Fairview). People are used to this place for the dressed Sunshines and this is where we hold our monthly seminars on Raising Sunshine Chicken. Actually it is far more comfortable for the clients making inquiries. It is airconditioned and has parking.

For prosperity, we will not let go of this address :)

There are talks with new lessees for the property. We took the clue and opportunity to make the move to a centralized location. It will all be for the better!

Making the mini few steps move, before we make the major one.

Making Plans

We are making plans to consolidate and centralize our operations in one strategic location. Hopefully, if plans push through, we will relocate in the area of Cubao, near Araneta Center.

WHAT? Moving will be our office, seminar area, commissary for dressed chickens, Solraya's Organika store, a Sunny Rottisserie with a drive thru.

WHY? Often we get raised eyebrows that our office is in faraway Fairview. Yes we do deliveries, but a lot of clients want to browse and pick up stuff at Organika. Also, if we are consolidated in one centralized location, logistics for our deliveries and operation is easier to check.

Day old chicks will also be available there for previously booked orders.

My mind is now busy how to fix the place. No frills...just utilitarian, clean look, airy...it'll be different. Quaint :)

March Seminar

Yesterday was the Easter Sunday. Our scheduled seminars are every 4th Sunday of the month, and fell on Easter this year.

We were expecting two or three to attend....we got 9. A 10th found the venue way too late to join.

The best part about getting a small group at a time when you are supposed to be on vacation? You get an interested, serious and varied personas.

I myself was attentive during the seminar and forgot to take photos!

Days just flies by, like by units of breathes, when you are busy. Am now in Isabela, but will be there, there and further there in the next few days....whew...not yet counting the blocked off dates for the coming up trade shows.

We are excited about the Bonsai Show (we don't know exact name yet), May3-11, Araneta Coliseum parking area. This will incoporate agriculural, tourism, cultural themes and events. Of course, we are preparing for IFEX Philippines, May16-20, SMX beside Mall of Asia.

Exciting to work with dynamic teams.
